NOTE:  Due to the limited availability of parking at Albert Jones Park, shuttles are available beginning at 10:30 a.m. from Brooks Stadium (2400 Brooks Stadium Drive).

 

Please join us at the Albert Jones Park, 836 Joe Bryan Dr., Paducah, KY 42003, Thursday May 13, 2021, 12-1 PM,  to celebrate the life of American hero and local legal titan Albert Jones. This event is presented by Mark Bryant and the Bryant Law Center.  

The 101st Airborne Division Brass Quintet as well as the Paducah Tilghman High School “Another Shade Of Blue” choir will perform. Speakers include Governor Andy Beshear, Mayor George Bray, Judge Executive Craig Clymer, Sen. Dorsey Ridley, Chief Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip Shephard and Supreme Court Justice Bill Cunningham.

Albert Jones was a mentor in the Paducah and western Kentucky legal community holding multiple positions, both locally and statewide,  during his lifetime. His former titles range from FBI agent, McCracken County Commonwealth Attorney, U.S. Attorney, State Representative and Mayor of Paducah.

This event will be streamed live on www.wpsdlocal6.com for those who cannot attend in person. For those who do attend in person please note CDC guidelines will be adhered to including 6 feet of distance between individual families. Per the governor’s updated guidelines masks may be omitted as this event is outdoors and less than 1,000 people will be in attendance.
