There are a few slots still available for the Fall Break Camp offered through the Parks Services Department. The camp for kids in K-5
thgrades is held at the Anna Baumer building at Noble Park. The camp is October 7-11 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The camp includes sports, arts and crafts, games, field trips, and a snack.
Paducah Parks Services Recreation Specialist John Gorrell says, "Our goal is to keep the kids active and entertained while they are out of school and enjoying the fall break. Kids get to make new friends and participate in activities that they may normally not get to do."
Gorrell adds, "We try to find out the interests of each child and tailor some of our activities around those interests to make sure each child leaves camp having had a good time."
Children should bring a sack lunch. The camp has a refrigerator and microwave. The camp costs $85 per child. The deadline to register is Friday, October 4 at 5 p.m.
