Vendor Applications for 2017 Independence Day Celebration

WHERE:         Paducah Parks Services, 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive     

Paducah Parks Services will accept applications for food and non-food vendors for the Independence Day Celebration on Monday, June 12 at 9 a.m.  Vendor applications are accepted on a first come basis.  Parks will permit eight (8) food and four (4) non-food vendors to set up and sell at the annual celebration in downtown Paducah.  All vendors must have a current City of Paducah business license.

Vendors must apply in person at the Parks Services Department located at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive.  The Parks Department will try not to duplicate the food or item being offered per vendor when possible.  Vendor applications are available in the Parks Department office beginning June 1.  Rules and restrictions apply. 

For the food vendor category, the City will permit six sandwich vendors (other miscellaneous food/beverages also may be sold) and two ice cream/dessert/non-alcoholic beverage vendors.  Four non-food/novelty vendors will be permitted.  Walking vendors will be permitted to walk through the crowds selling merchandise inside the floodwall only.  Set-up may begin on July 4 as early as 11 a.m.  All vendors should be in place and ready to sell no later than 3:30 pm.  Location will depend on each vendor’s electrical needs and booth size.  A 12' x 12" space is guaranteed.

The City of Paducah Independence Day Celebration is coupled with LIVE on the RIVER.  The event will begin in historic downtown Paducah at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4.  Vendors will be selling by 3:30 p.m.  Enjoy an afternoon and evening of performances and family-friendly activities.  The fireworks show choreographed to music begins at approximately 9:15.
