The Parks and Recreation Department invites everyone to the final RIVERfront Concert for 2017 on Thursday, August 31.  Due to the threat of rain from the remnants of Hurricane Harvey, the concert will be held indoors at Maiden Alley Cinema located at 112 Maiden Alley.  Enjoy The Wheelhouse Rousters from 6 until 7 p.m. and then The Blue Stones from 7 until 8:30 p.m. 

The free RIVERfront Concert Series is a partnership of local and nationwide artists with local artists taking the stage for the first hour and nationally-known up-and-coming artists entertaining the crowds from 7 until 8:30 p.m.  Water, Pepsi products, and beverages from local craft beer breweries are available for purchase.

About the RIVERfront Concert Series

The 2017 RIVERfront Concert Series is organized by the Parks and Recreation Department.  It's a FREE concert series with amazing up-and-coming musical artists, local and nationwide.  Bring your lawn chairs or enjoy the steps at the riverfront and enjoy the music on Wilson Stage.  Concerts are on select Thursdays in June, July, and August.  Local artists take the stage from 6 until 7 p.m. with the nationally-known artists from 7 until 8:30 p.m.  All nationwide artists are on iTunes and some are on Amazon.com.

It's Sounds, Sunsets, and Summertime, and it's FREE.

Water, Pepsi products, and beverages from local craft beer breweries are available for purchase.
