Below are the changes to the Engineering-Public Works Department’s schedule for the Independence Day holiday (July 4, 2018).
Compost Facility: The City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed on Wednesday, July 4. The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility is Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. When fully stocked with materials, the Facility has wood chips and compost available for purchase by the bucket load. An approximately two yard bucket load of wood chips is $10 while the compost costs $20.
Trash Collection: There will be NO residential trash collection or brush collection on Wednesday, July 4. Wednesday’s routes will be collected on Thursday, July 5 along with Thursday’s routes.
