Sarah Stewart Holland was elected to the City Commission in November of 2016. A fifth generation Paducah native, Commissioner Holland works as a digital marketing consultant and is the co-host of a national political podcast, Pantsuit Politics.
A graduate of Heath High School, Commissioner Holland graduated from Transylvania University in 2003 before receiving her law degree from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Before moving back to Paducah, Commissioner Holland worked in the United States Senate.
Commissioner Holland is married to Nicholas Holland, a partner at the law firm of Whitlow, Roberts, Houston, & Straub. Commissioner Holland has three children: nine-year-old Griffin, seven-year-old Amos, and three-year-old Felix.
Commissioner Holland is a member of Grace Episcopal Church and has served on the Board of Directors for the Yeiser Art Center and the Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club, as well as the Parent-Teacher Organization for Clark Elementary School. She is also a member of the Charity League of Paducah.
