Paducah Chiefs Little League

The goals of this league are for youth to learn the basic skills of the sport, show improvement throughout the season, and have fun! The league is held at the Noble Park Ball Fields. This league is sanctioned with Little League International and District 1 within Kentucky. We are offering Tee Ball, Minor League Baseball, Minor League Softball, Major League Baseball. Players who sign up will be assigned teams and are provided a uniform for games. Coaches are volunteers so we ask all parents to consider helping to coach.

The registration deadline for the 2022 season is Thursday, March 3. You may register your kids in person at the Parks & Recreation Office, located at 1400 HC Mathis Drive, by phone at 270-444-8508 or online. Registration begins January 11.

Tee Ball

Tee Ball is for boys and girls ages 4-6 and costs $30 per child. A 10% off multi-child discount is available. The aging date for players is August 31, 2022. Practices will be on weeknights, likely Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning March 29 & 31 and will play most games on Saturdays beginning April 16. Players should have their own glove and tennis shoes. The league will provide helmets, bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for games and practices.

Minor League Baseball

For boys and girls ages 7-9 with the aging date on August 31, 2021 and costs $40 per child. A 10% off multi-child discount is available. Practices will begin on March 29 on Tuesday & Thursday evenings until games begin on Thursday April 14. After that practices are on Tuesday nights with games on Thursdays.A soft-compression baseball is used and the league is coach pitch. Coaches are volunteer parents. Players should have their own glove and tennis shoes or cleats. The league will provide helmets, bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for games and practices.

Minor League Softball

For girls ages 7-9 with the aging date on December 31, 2020 and costs $40 per child. A 10% off multi-child discount is available. Practices will begin on March 29 on Tuesday & Thursday evenings until games begin on Thursday April 14. After that practices are on Tuesday nights with games on Thursdays. A soft-compression baseball is used and the league is coach pitch.Coaches are volunteer parents. Players should have their own glove and tennis shoes or cleats. The league will provide helmets, bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for games and practices. Registration numbers may dictate changes in this division being offered, with the possibility of combining with Minor League Baseball and using a soft compression baseball.

Major League Baseball

For boys and girls ages 10-12 with the aging date on August 31, 2021 and costs $40 per child. A 10% off multi-child discount is available. Practices will begin on March 29 on Tuesday & Thursday evenings until games begin on Thursday April 14. After that practices are on Tuesday nights with games on Thursdays. This league is player pitch. Coaches are volunteer parents. Players should have their own glove and tennis shoes or cleats. The league will provide helmets, bats, balls, and any other equipment needed for games and practices. Boys and girls can both play Major League Baseball.

 

Preseason Clinic

A clinic will be held at Noble Park on Saturday March 12 for all registered participants. Times are TBD.

 

Sponsorship Opportunities

$400 Team Sponsorship – Team sponsorship includes logo on back of every players uniform. Recognition on social media and website. Recognition on “Thank You to Sponsors Sign” at Noble Park fields.    Proceeds help purchase team equipment and apparel for every player on team.

$300 Field Sponsorship– Single banner on one of the playing fields during Little League season. This will be the exclusive banner on the field. Recognition on social media and website. Recognition on “Thank You to Sponsors Sign” at Noble Park fields.

Additional Information

All players must turn in a copy of their birth certificate and completely fill out a Paducah Chiefs Little League Registration Form before the preseason clinic on March 12. These may be e-mailed to parkinfo@paducahky.gov or dropped off at the Paducah Parks & Recreation Office located at 1400 H.C. Mathis Drive.

 

There is NO SMOKING OR VAPING allowed at the fields or park during games and practices per City of Paducah Ordinance.
