Christmas Lights Contest Winners!

Paducah Parks Services Annual Christmas Light Contest ended December 12th with several entries.  Community participants were asked to submit a picture of their decorated houses for our contest by the deadline. The submitted entries were judged and the winners will receive trophies. Winners can pick up their trophies at Parks Services at 1400 HC Mathis Drive in Paducah.

The winners are as follows:
1st Place: The Wilson Family, Friedman Lane
2nd place: The Burgess Family, Ohio Street
3rd Place: The Althouse Family, Ashcreek Road
4th Place: The Newberry Family, Harrison Street
5th Place: The Darnell Family, Guthrie Avenue

The Wilson Family, this year’s first place winner, has won first place 2 out of the last 3 years! Cngratulations Wilson’s for your wonderful display of lights.

There are so many wonderful holiday displays out there. We encourage you to send your pictures in to us for our contest next year! You just might go home with the prize! Thanks to all of our 2008 participants!
