The Charter County Government Merger Committee will conduct four public meetings in 2012 to present the proposed Comprehensive Plan for the merger of city and county government. The meeting format will include copies of the plan, maps of proposed districts, comment forms and answer and comment stations. The meetings are January 12 at Reidland High School; January 26 at Paducah Tilghman High School; February 2 at Heath High School; and February 6 at Lone Oak High School in the school cafeterias from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
