The Teen Board consists of teenagers between the ages of 14 and 19 who are currently enrolled in an area high school. 

The Teen Board holds monthly meetings at the Parks Services Offices and welcomes any teen meeting the membership criteria above to attend.  Call for more information on meetings and/or upcoming events.

MISSION STATEMENT

To serve and unite area teens by:

• organizing, planning, and implementing events and activities for teens.
• promoting and advertising upcoming events through the high schools
• serving as representatives from and for their high schools, bringing new ideas and suggestions for events and activities from their peers.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

                                   September 10th:

Monthly meeting.  We will meet at Paducah Parks Services in the Conference Room at 4:30 pm.  Our meetings usually last about 45 minutes.

                                   September 20th:       

Movies in the Park.  We will be setting up our BIG screen for a special "drive in" style showing of "Transformers".  Bring your friends, chairs, and blankets, and join us!  Concessions will be available for a small fee and will include drinks, nachos, and popcorn. 

                                       October 1st:

Monthly meeting.  We will meet at Paducah Parks Services in the Conference Room at 4:30 pm.  Our meetings usually last about 45 minutes.

                                      October 18th:

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be hosting a Great Strids Walk beginning at 9:00 am in Noble Park.  Teen board will be collecting donations and participating in the walk.  Please give your donations to a Teen Board member or mail your donations to Parks Services, Attn: Teen Board, 1400 HC Mathis Drive, Paducah, KY 42001.

                                      October 24th:

Paducah Parks Services Annual Halloween Surprise is a fun event for children.  The Teen Board volunteers their time to provide fun games and activities for the attendees including a cake walk, limbo, bean bag toss, and more!
