What better way to welcome cooler weather than to celebrate the harvest season at the Farmers’ Market. The Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Downtown Farmers’ Market, located at 2nd and Monroe Streets.
Vendors will have a wide array of fall produce to sell, including apples, pumpkins, squash and even some fresh apple cider. This year’s event also includes a live demonstration of a cider press, pumpkin painting for the kids, face painting, cooking demonstrations conducted by the McCracken County Master Food Volunteers, as well as free samples and recipes.
From 10 a.m. to noon, local bluegrass musician, Nathan Blake Lynn will perform. For some added entertainment, iList Paducah’s Vera Piggsley will be on site, welcoming visitors the opportunity to have their picture taken with her at the fall photo booth.
Paducah Renaissance Alliance, a national Main Street program, serves to stimulate the economic vitality of the historic downtown and Lower Town arts district, while protecting the historic integrity of our community.
