A Crime Stoppers tip has led to the arrest of a Paducah woman in connection with the use of a stolen credit card at various locations around Kentucky Oaks Mall. Officers say a Vienna, IL, man told them he lost his wallet on August 11, 2013, and several of his credit cards since have been used to purchase various items, including a cellular telephone and children’s clothing. Less than 24 hours after a photograph of two suspects was released to the media, a tip was received via text message to Crime Stoppers. Both the man and the woman in the photograph were identified. The woman, Royale M. Johnson, was charged in a warrant with fraudulent use of a credit card. She was arrested at 2:49 p.m. today at her home and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail. The man in the photograph has not been charged, but the investigation is continuing.
