Searching for Man Suspected of Stealing Flags

Paducah police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing flags from various locations in downtown and mid-town Paducah.

The man pictured stole the U.S. flag from in front of the Paducah Police Department about 8:20 p.m. Thursday. Police also have received reports of American flags being stolen from Paducah Power, Broadway and Fountain Avenue, 28th and Jefferson Streets, outside of the Jackson House, and five locations on Walter Jetton Boulevard. City and state flags also were taken.

Also pictured is a truck police believe the man was driving as it passed in front of the Police Department.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL. Tipsters also may access the Online Tip Form. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
