On Friday, September 9, WoodmenLife Chapter 57 and the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center will host an In Honor & Remembrance ceremony at the convention center located at 415 Park Avenue.
“WoodmenLife members and associates nationwide organize In Honor & Remembrance ceremonies each year,” said Angie Hatton, community outreach manager. “These ceremonies give members and the public a chance to remember those lives that were lost on that tragic day.”
The ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM and will include a formal flag raising and dedication of the new flagpole for the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center. Participating in the event will be local veteran groups and local leaders. Handheld flags will be given to all in attendance.
