Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

2025 Tree Lighting Ceremony

The community is invited to join the Paducah Board of Commissioners for a Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Water Street in front of the large floodwall opening between Broadway and Jefferson Street with the official tree lighting at the end of the celebration.

To kick off the 2025 holiday season, the Paducah Board of Commissioners will “flip the switch” to illuminate the 26-foot tall Christmas tree.

Tiny Tot Father's Day Celebration

About the Celebration

Children 5 years old and younger are invited to celebrate Father's Day at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The Father's Day Celebration will include a craft, photo station, and games. 

A parent/guardian is required to remain with their child during the celebration. Cost is $5 per child.

Arbor Day Celebration

About the 2025 Arbor Day Celebration

Come out to the Noble Park Amphitheatre on Friday, April 25, 2025, for the Arbor Day Celebration with the theme "We Speak for the Trees." This event is sponsored by Banterra Bank. From 5 until 7 p.m. enjoy a tree identification walk, a coloring contest, arts & crafts, and more. Attendees will also be able to help with a tree planting in Noble Park. 

Tiny Tot Mother's Day Celebration

About the Celebration

Children 5 years old and younger are invited to celebrate Mother's Day at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The Mother's Day Celebration Tea Party will include a craft, photo station, and games. 

A parent/guardian is required to remain with their child during the celebration. Cost is $5 per child.

Tiny Tot Christmas Celebration

Children 5 years old and younger are invited to a Christmas Celebration at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Join Paducah Parks & Recreation for a craft, games, activities, and playtime.

A parent/guardian is required to remain with their child during the celebration. Cost is $5 per child (tax included).

Tiny Tot Thanksgiving Celebration

About the Celebration

The Tiny Tot Thanksgiving Celebration will be Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Paducah Recreation Center located at 1527 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. This event is for children 5 years old and younger (and their parent/guardian). The cost is $5 per child (tax included). There will be arts and crafts, games, story-time, and more.

Noble Park Summer Music Series

The Parks & Recreation Department holds a summer music series at Noble Park with live music at the Noble Park Amphitheatre on Fridays beginning at 5:30 p.m. Each event is approximately two hours long. Some evenings will have one performer for the two-hour block while other evenings will feature two performers.

Parking is available by Shelter #9 (across roadway from amphitheatre) and the Noble Park Pool. Sit on the steps of the amphitheatre or bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

Flag Day Celebration

About the 2025 Celebration

The City of Paducah invites the community to a Flag Day Celebration on Friday, June 13 from 9 until 10 a.m. at Dolly McNutt Memorial Plaza located at 301 South 5th Street. The event includes a flag raising ceremony, a short ceremony, educational displays, and activities for children.

The Flag Day Celebration will take place on the Washington Street side of the park at the flag pole. Washington Street between 5th Street and 6th Street will be closed for the event. This event will be held rain or shine unless storms are in the area.
