Kick-Start Meetings
Scheduling a Kick-Start Meeting
Kick-Start Meetings are scheduled every other Wednesday at 1 p.m. at City Hall (300 South 5th Street). To schedule a meeting, fill out the Kick-Start Meeting Request Form and Questionnaire and email it to the Development Liaison or drop it off to a Customer Experience Representative in the lobby of City Hall. A representative will contact you to schedule a meeting.

In 2025, the City of Paducah and McCracken County Fiscal Court adopted a joint Comprehensive Plan, a document required by Kentucky State Law. Opportunity Zones
What is an Opportunity Zone?
Opportunity Zones are an economic development tool promoting investment in distressed communities through legislation enacted by the Federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. Communities have been designated as Opportunity Zones by the U.S. Department of Treasury, incentivizing investments in these distressed communities to better address local needs in areas such as business growth, improvements to housing, and improvements to infrastructure.
