Housing Authority of Paducah and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program to Hold Landlord Symposium on Thursday, March 28

The Housing Authority of Paducah and the Paducah Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program are holding a Landlord Symposium on Thursday, March 28. This educational and informational seminar is for developers, landlords, realtors, and property owners to learn about the Section 8 program.

The seminar will be at the Paducah Innovation Hub located at 500 South 25th Street at 5 p.m. There is no cost to attend; however, pre-registration is encouraged by Friday, March 22 by emailing ladonnapaducahhousing.com.

At the seminar, attendees will learn about the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, the benefits of participating, and policies associated with the program.

Section 8 Housing is a federally funded, assisted housing program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that provides housing assistance to low-income, elderly, and disabled families in Paducah/McCracken County by subsidizing a portion of the family’s monthly rent in privately-owned housing units.

The Section 8 offices are located at the Housing Authority of Paducah Elmwood Court located at 2330 Ohio Street.
