International City/County Management Association 2025-2026 President Michael Land, City Manager of Coppell, Texas, has appointed Daron Jordan, City Manager of Paducah, Ky., as Chair of ICMA’s 2026 Conference Education Committee. In this leadership role, Jordan will help guide the development of high-quality educational programming for ICMA’s Local Government Reimagined Conferences and the ICMA Annual Conference.
Jordan will be supported by Vice-Chair Emily Moon, Public Works Director for the City of Issaquah, Wash., and Vice-Chair Alison Ortowski, City Manager of Southlake, Texas. Together, they will work closely with ICMA staff and a committee of nearly 100 local government professionals from across the globe to curate innovative, relevant, and forward-thinking content that addresses the evolving challenges and opportunities facing local governments.
