Below is a release from the Paducah Civic Beautification Board.

Dogwood Trail Map and Details

It’s starting to look like a lot like spring and that means the Paducah Dogwood Trail is right around the corner! The Paducah Civic Beautification Board (CBB) announced today that the 62nd Annual Paducah Dogwood Trail will take place April 6 through April 19 or while the blooms are still bright. The theme for this year’s Dogwood Trail is “Bloom Bright Paducah.”

The Dogwood Trail Kick-Off Celebration will be held at City Hall at 5:30pm on April 6 and will feature refreshments, $1 Trolley rides and an old tradition that the CBB is bringing back this year, a “Follow the Trolley” parade. Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars, tune in to the self-guided audio tour that will be available on the Paducah Dogwood Trail Facebook page and the Paducah Civic Beautification Board Facebook page and follow the trolley. The self-guided audio tour allows everyone in the parade to enjoy hearing the history of Paducah neighborhoods as told by the Paducah Ambassadors on the trolley all while taking in the views of the lighted dogwoods. The first 10 cars in the parade will receive window flags for their cars.

Also new this year, the CBB will be marking the original Paducah Dogwood Trail on Sycamore St. with dogwood bloom street decals to create a walking trail through Wallace Park that everyone can enjoy at their leisure.

All local businesses can join in on the fun by putting the dates of the Dogwood Trail on their marquees or signage to welcome visitors to the area and carry this year’s theme “Bloom Bright Paducah” throughout the city.
