Warm up with a bowl of chili and enjoy an evening of community engagement at the Southside Community Meeting and Chili Supper on Thursday, January 29, at 5:30 p.m. at the W.C. Young Community Center, 505 South 8th Street. Hosted by the Paducah Planning Department in partnership with the Paducah Fire Prevention Division, this free event invites Southside residents and community supporters to gather for food, fellowship, and neighborhood updates. No registration is required.
Chili will be provided by G&O Grill as attendees learn about progress on the Southside Revitalization Plan, adopted by the Paducah Board of Commissioners in August 2025. City staff will present information on Southside Incentive Grants for the Phase I Program Area including eligibility requirements, application procedures, and how the programs support housing improvements and encourage new construction in the area.
The meeting will also include guidance on being a good neighbor, along with updates on building safety and property maintenance codes that help keep the Southside—and all of Paducah—safe and attractive.
