Downtown and Lower Town

Paducah's historic downtown offers a variety of venues for shopping, dining, and cultural entertainment. The adjacent neighborhood, LowerTown, is full of beautiful historic homes and art galleries.

Downtown Parking

Are you planning a trip to historic downtown Paducah?  More than 500 parking spaces are available in the heart of downtown along the streets. However, if you are looking for off-street parking, visit Downtown Parking to view the list of FREE public parking lots with more than 1000 total spaces.  

Entertainment Destination Center

A section of Paducah’s historic downtown is an Entertainment Destination Center.  The Center boosts restaurant and hospitality industries by allowing customers to take to-go alcoholic drinks in designated cups from participating businesses to stroll our historic streets, browse the windows of our local boutiques, watch the towboats on the river, and partake in outdoor events.  

Farmers' Market

Located in historic downtown, along the Ohio River, Paducah's Downtown Farmers' Market is within an easy stroll of downtown shops, restaurants and cultural activities. The market is located at North 2nd and Monroe Streets.

Festivals, Performances, and Special Events

Paducah is always full of activity at one of its performance venues. Also, make sure to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city at a parade, special event, or festival.

Parks and Sports

Enjoy some leisure time at one of Paducah parks or sporting locations. Paducah is proud to offer a large public pool at Noble Park, a skatepark, dog parks, sprayparks, Brooks Stadium, disc golf, a large boat launch, and Paxton Park Golf Course.
